Karwar is the Head-Quarter of North Kanara district in Karnataka state, India, on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Surrounded by Western Ghat (mountains) on the East and South, the River Kali to the North, and the Arabian Sea, which comprises a chain of Islands.

This is another Kerwadi village Landscape shot on Nokia 3230 1.3 mpix mobile by Sandeep Naik...
I was born in Kerwadi, after seeing this picture old memories of my childhood came back. As children we used to go to Kali Nadi and gather clams(Kondayo),during summer we gathered Karwanda and Chara in the back yard forests. This was long time ago in the 1960's.
