Karwar is the Head-Quarter of North Kanara district in Karnataka state, India, on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Surrounded by Western Ghat (mountains) on the East and South, the River Kali to the North, and the Arabian Sea, which comprises a chain of Islands.

Ground Beneath the Lamp-post....
The Tagore Beach at Karwar, was subject to heavy erosion this time, due to the rising sea-levels.
The erosion took its toll on the Lamp Post, and took away the ground beneath the pole. How deep the pole was buried, is visible from the earth-mark visible on the concrete portion of the pole...
Wow this is amazing ... just think how the Word of God comes in and changes the "soil of our heart" to reveal what is beneath the surface....wow I like this demonstration of erosion ....thanks for sharing
PSS I have a passion for photography though I do not have a really "nice" camera and I enjoy the little one I have....
Yogesh Naik, I believe there is always a "truth" in whatever we look upon .. we just have to be hungry for truth. The eyes see what the heart desires to see.. A heap of nothinginess is but an opportunity for God to prove his POWER to CHANGE. I was a heap of nothinginess until HIS POWER touched my life ever so gently. NOW I sing and dance with lyrics of loyalthy and delight to HIS TOUCH I love photography....it within itself is but a message of HOPE and CHANGE ... BEAUTY and Excellency....LOVE LIGHT and LIFE that I try to somehow capture with a tiny little man made item...to speak into the hearts and mind of others as HIS HEART DESIRES An Aw-bad servant = a servant owned not hired!
