Beside the National Highway no.17 at Karwar on the Tagore Beach is the Government acquarium, with fairly good collection of marine life samples. A Whale Skeleton, a 300 year old Turtle, and other local marine samples, make up the Acquarium, for Tickets of Rs.3-00 per Adult.
