Solkadhi is a type of curry usually had with rice or sometimes drunk after the meals. Popular in the Konkan region of India, it is made from coconut milk and kokum. It's known for its digestive properties.

Surrounded by Western Ghat (mountains) on the East and South, the River Kali to the North, and the Arabian Sea, which comprises a chain of Islands.

Fish Curry Rice... From a small hotel
The staple food for most Karwaris (natives of Karwar) and surrounding coastal areas, is Rice and Fish. A plate shown here is so much “filling“ that one invariably has to take a Nap :-)
